~ On Being A Contractor ~      While Asset Renovation & Maintenance began in 1992, it truly began for me about 40 years ago as a youngster.      On school breaks I would go out on jobs with my dad, who was a "Handy Man" and a darned good one at that.
	I didn't realize it at the time, but I was learning a lot by being with, and watching my dad.  Later on, when he let me handle a few simple repairs - well - I was hooked.      Watching him repair things, and that early love of fixing things just naturally translated into working at the job my father had taught me.
